JAMES. P. MILLER. MAMMOTH BOWIE. 8 3/8" Damascus blade forged by the Maker. 300 layers of 1084 and 15n20 in a Ladder and Birds eye pattern. Tapered Tang. Wrought Iron Dovetailed Bolster. Stunning Blue/Mocha Mammoth Ivory handle with Stainless pins. Overall Length 13 3/8". J.P. Miller Handmade 10 ounce Cowhide Sheath covered with Buckskin. J. P. Miller has been making knives for 35 years and Damascus for 23 years. J.P. joined the Knifemakers Guild in 1982. He makes carbon steel knives using 1095 carbon steel. The carbon steel knives are made by using the stock removal method. The Damascus knives are all hand forged one at a time. Only natural materials are used to create the handles.
